Building an online tabletop RPG platform

Role is an online platform that enables social video gameplay between users, with an initial focus on the tabletop RPG market.

The founders have nearly two decades worth of experience working in gaming and media, and know the space intimately having launched a mobile RPG app in 2015 and successfully raised over $100k on Kickstarter last year. Through the platform, they are combining the often disparate elements of the virtual tabletop RPG space – studio releases, community, play, storefronts and content creation – and providing a far simpler and richer experience for users.
